Integrum to support the US Department of Veterans Affairs program to expand care for Veterans who have experienced limb loss

Mölndal, Sweden, December 23, 2021 – Integrum (publ) (Nasdaq First North Growth Market: INTEG B) announced today its plans to support the US Department of Veterans Affairs program to offer the OPRA™ Implant System to select Veterans who meet criteria for the implant system.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) administers the largest integrated health care system in the United States, providing care at nearly 1,300 health care facilities to over 9 million military Veterans enrolled in the VA health care program. The VA has developed a process by which Veterans can be evaluated to determine if they are appropriate for this new technology and the VA plans to start screening potential candidates early in 2022.

“We are very excited about these plans and our working relationship in integrating the OPRATM Implant System into the VA system. The VA program builds upon our initial work with the Department of Defense and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center providing the revolutionary OPRATM technology to military members with limb loss,” said Tom Dugan, President, Integrum Inc, US.
