UCSF Medical Center performs Osseointegration crowdfunding campaign

UCSF Medical Center is planning to treat several Transfemural (above the knee) patients on a yearly basis. Apart from hospital expenses, patients traveling from across the nation will have to find resources to cover the cost of lodging and travel in order to have the first clinical screening, as well as surgery and aftercare. UCSF Medical Center will help to mitigate these costs for patients in financially disadvantaged situations.
