Advanced Technologies in Amputation Rehabilitation- An Educational Roadtrip in UK
Blatchford Clinic UK, in collaboration with UK will host educational forums on the technologies for amputation rehabilitation
Blatchford Clinic in collaboration with Integrum will host a series of educational forums in UK between 14th-17th January 2020.The forums are intended to give treating clinicians, therapists as well as patients an overview of Phantom Limb Pain treatments . The forum will focus specifically on the treatment with Neuromotus. Neuromotus is a non-invasive technology based on virtual and augmented reality working on the principles of Phantom Motor Execution(PME). PME is a novel treatment invented betweeen Integrum and Chalmers University with promising clinical evidence and patient outcome. Additionally, the forums will also give a brief overview of Osseointegration for amputee rehabilitation.
